Tradewind Recruitment is working with our partner secondary schools across Northampton, currently recruiting for individuals to fill Cover Supervisor roles.
You are not required to have a teaching qualification to be successful, just up-to-date and relevant experience working with young people. This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start a career in education.
This position will allow you to gain experience managing a variety of lessons and building rapport with students. It offers a chance to develop teaching and strong classroom management skills in an environment where planning will always be in place.
Responsibilities:
1. Working across a range of different year groups and departments
2. Managing the behaviour of students
3. Supervising pre-planned, pre-set work from teachers
Requirements of the Candidate:
* Recent and relevant experience working with young people, in an educational, coaching, or care setting
* Degree educated
* Passionate and committed to working with children in education
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Punctual, flexible, and reliable
