Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Practice Cleaner to join our team in Deal, Kent.
Please note that this vacancy as a 12 month Fixed Term contract, for Maternity Cover.
1. Part time hours available - 20 hour per week.
2. Typical working pattern - 4 hour per day, Monday to Friday, working across 2 Practices, within a 5 minute walk of each other. These hours will be done either before the Practices open, or after they close.
As a Practice Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our patients and staff.
3. Performing daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the practice
4. Clean and disinfect examination rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and staff areas
5. Properly handle and dispose of medical waste according to established protocols
6. Maintain and organise cleaning supplies and equipment
7. Adhere to infection control and hygiene standards specific to healthcare settings
8. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
9. Assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed
