This role offers the opportunity to work on applied AI and machine learning systems, contributing across the full development lifecycle — from data preparation and model development through to deployment and user-facing tools.
Responsibilities
* Prepare, clean, and augment datasets for training, evaluation, and benchmarking of AI models
* Design, train, fine-tune, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models for real-world applications
* Develop intelligent workflows incorporating feedback loops and agent-based approaches
* Apply ML techniques such as classification, regression, and feature extraction to complex data sources
* Implement semantic search, analytics, and root cause analysis functionality
* Optimise model performance and ensure robustness and scalability
* Collaborate on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies
* Contribute to the development of intuitive web-based interfaces for visualising and interacting with AI outputs
Requirements
* Strong proficiency in Python and modern machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch)
* Experience with data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation workflows
* Familiarity with cloud platforms and automated deployment pipelines
* Understanding of MLOps / DevOps practices for scalable AI systems
* Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks) is desirable
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
