Key Responsibilities Deliver and collect parcels efficiently and safely within a designated route area Provide excellent customer service and act as a professional ambassador for the DPD brand Load, scan, and organise parcels for daily delivery routes Plan routes to maximise efficiency and meet delivery time targets Maintain accurate delivery records using handheld scanning devices Ensure vehicle is roadworthy, clean, and compliant with DPD standards Manage fuel, servicing, insurance, and vehicle compliance Resolve delivery issues and customer queries professionally Adhere to health & safety, driving, and data protection regulations Required Skills & Experience Valid UK driving licence (Category B) with good driving record Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred (DPD, Amazon, Hermes/Evri, DHL, etc.) Strong time management and organisational skills Good communication and customer service skills Physically fit for loading and unloading parcels Comfortable working independently and managing own workload Basic IT skills for handheld delivery systems Business & Franchise Responsibilities Operate as a self-employed business owner under DPD franchise agreement Invest in or lease an approved delivery vehicle (van) Maintain appropriate business insurance (vehicle, goods in transit, public liability) Manage operating costs and profitability Comply with DPD franchise standards, training, and performance targets Earnings & Benefits (Typical) Weekly revenue based on route size and performance Performance-related bonuses available Opportunity to grow routes and build a delivery business Full training and ongoing support from DPD depot (Exact earnings vary by depot and route — details provided during recruitment.)
