Warehouse Operative - FLT Reach driver
Location: Leeds, LS9
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 14:00pm - 22:00pm or 10:00am - 19:00pm or 11:00am - 20:00pm depends from availability
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
We are currently looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to join an afternoon shift team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our operations by picking orders using forklifts (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck), loading vehicles for delivery, and assisting with the cutting of flooring products when required.
This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and safe, ensuring compliance with company health and safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Picking orders from the warehouse using forklifts (Counterbalance/Reach Truck).
2. Loading vehicles for delivery, ensuring the correct items are dispatched.
3. Utilising in-house systems (tablets/RF scanners) to print jobs and track orders.
4. Cutting flooring products as required to fulfil orders.
5. Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment, ensuring safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
6. Always adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
7. Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck).
8. Ability to work efficiently during shifts (2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday).
9. Comfortable using in-house systems (tablets, RF scanners).
10. Ability to cut flooring products when required.
11. Strong attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
12. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
13. Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
