Interim Assistant Accountant job with a Glasgow based organisation for an initial 3-6-month period.Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Processing, recording and reconciliation of financial transactions
* Managing relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
* Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, in writing, and in person
* Liaising with external stakeholders
* Processing creditor invoices and payments
* Income and debt collection
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
* Processing VAT returns
The ideal candidate:
* Immediately available
* Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role
* Working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
* Good stakeholder management skills
On offer:
* Initial 3-month contract with potential to extend
* Salary up to £38,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent
* Hybrid / flexible working
