Job Description Deputy Nursery Room Leader – Up to £32,000 Are you a dedicated and experienced childcare professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a passionate Deputy Nursery Room Leader to join our nurturing and supportive team, helping to shape the early experiences of the children in our care. As a Deputy Nursery Room Leader, you’ll support the Room Leader in delivering high-quality early years education, creating a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive. You'll also play a key role in guiding and mentoring colleagues, ensuring consistent, exceptional care across the room. About You Qualified: Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent. Experienced: Solid background in a nursery or early years setting, ideally with some leadership experience. Knowledgeable: Confident in the EYFS framework and child development best practices. Supportive Leader: Able to inspire and guide team members, while nurturing strong relationships with children and families. Organised and Responsible: A proactive and positive approach to safeguarding, health & safety, and room routines. Lead the room in the Room Leader’s absence, ensuring continuity of care and routines. Build warm, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and assess each child’s development, maintaining accurate records. Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
