What you’ll do:
We’re looking for a skilled 18th Edition Electrician to join our expanding team delivering smart electrical solutions across domestic, commercial, and light industrial sites. You’ll be hands-on with EV charge point installations, Solar PV AC works, and reactive maintenance, helping us drive the UK’s renewable energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and commission EV charge points in domestic and commercial settings
* Carry out AC electrical works related to Solar PV (inverters, mains distribution, system integration)
* Conduct periodic inspections, testing, and certification (EICs, EICRs, Minor Works)
* Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and reactive maintenance
* Ensure compliance with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and NICEIC standards
* Use electronic systems (NIC App, tablet) to complete and upload job documentation
* Liaise with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure smooth project delivery
* Conduct site audits and identify/correct poor practice, supporting consistent high standards

What we’re looking for:
* Fully qualified electrician with 18th Edition BS7671 certification
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing)
* Valid ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician level)
* Full UK driving licence
* 5+ years’ experience across domestic and commercial installations
* Good communication skills and confident customer-facing experience
* Strong IT skills for commissioning and reporting apps
Desirable skills:
* City & Guilds 2919-01 (EV Charging Equipment Installation)
* Experience with EV charger brands like Alfen, Autel, Alpitronic
* Solar PV accreditation or MCS-related knowledge
* Experience with battery storage and smart energy systems
