Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Documentation & Engineering
Lead the preparation of method statements and risk assessments compliant with UK standards (e.g., BS 7121)
Oversee the design and engineering of seafastening frames and equipment, coordinating with engineering teams for technical validation
2. Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary contact for Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS), ensuring third-party compliance and approval of installation methodologies
.Manage relationships with installation vessel suppliers, optimizing vessel deployment and contract execution.
3.Execution Support
Assist the Execution Manager in offshore operations, supervising heavy-lift activities (e.g., wind turbine installations) while ensuring safety, cost, and timeline targets
Develop resource allocation plans for cranes, transport, and personnel
4.Safety & Compliance
Implement HSE protocols aligned with UK regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 13852)
Conduct site safety audits and risk mitigation drills
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil/Offshore Engineering (Master’s preferred).
8+ years in offshore lifting/installation management, with wind energy or oil & gas projects experience.
2.Technical Skills
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks) and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
Expertise in marine operations, heavy lifting (e.g., floating cranes), and seafastening design
3. Soft Skills
Fluent English (C1+) for technical documentation and cross-border stakeholder engagement
Leadership capabilities to manage multicultural teams and high-pressure offshore environments
