Job Title: Sports Coach

Salary Range: £95 -£120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Sports Coach to work within a vibrant and inclusive school setting in Sheffield. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in sports or physical education who are looking to make a positive difference to student wellbeing, confidence, and development through active learning.
As a Sports Coach, you will support the delivery of high-quality PE lessons, promote active lifestyles, and engage pupils through physical activities. You will work with students of varying abilities and needs, including those who may benefit from a more hands-on, movement-based approach to learning and behaviour management.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, structured physical activities and sports coaching sessions.
Assist in the planning and execution of PE lessons and extracurricular sports clubs.
Support the personal development and wellbeing of students through active participation.
Encourage teamwork, leadership, and discipline through sports.
Promote physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle across the school community.
Monitor and report on student engagement, progress, and participation.
Job Requirements:
Recognised qualification in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related discipline (minimum Level 2 preferred).
Previous experience working with children or young people in schools or sports settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Understanding of how sport can support students with SEMH and behavioural needs.
Ability to motivate, lead, and engage young learners effectively.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
