My Local Authority client in Yorkshire is looking to appoint a talented Assistant Director of Commissioning on a Contract basis. The role will support the Council's Commissioning function through strong, astute leadership, helping to deliver transformational changes and service improvements. About the role: Based in Yorkshire (Hybrid): This role will focus primarily on adult's commissioning, with elements of children's commissioning included. Lead on delivering substantial service improvement of the commissioning function. Ensure Value for Money whilst managing complex commissioning programmes. Provide high-level direction and strategic advice on commissioning to achieve organisational goals and improve service outcomes. About you: You will have the following experiences: Proven experience at AD / Director level within either Adult's or Children's Commissioning. Extensive knowledge and understanding of the full commissioning cycle. Demonstrable experience delivering transformation and service improvement.
