Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives? We’re expanding our Supported Living Services in the S40 area and are looking for compassionate, dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join our team.
Some of our services operate single-gender teams based on the needs of the individuals we support. This means we have roles available for both male and female support workers, with certain positions requiring a specific gender.
What You’ll Do
1. Provide person-centred support to individuals with complex needs
2. Promote independence and enhance quality of life
3. Assist with daily living tasks including medication, cooking, cleaning, and documentation
4. Support access to community activities and help individuals build new skills and hobbies
What We’re Looking For
5. Experience supporting individuals with ASD, mental health conditions, or complex needs
6. Understanding of challenging behaviours and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
7. Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
8. A caring, positive attitude and the ability to work independently and within a team
