Eden Scott’s client is seeking a Client Onboarding & Governance Analyst for a 12-month position based in Edinburgh. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
As a Client Onboarding & Governance Analyst, you will ensure that investment management agreements (IMAs) and related client documentation are accurately maintained, reviewed, and compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies. You will liaise between internal teams—including Legal, Compliance, and Client Services—and external clients to facilitate a seamless governance process.
Key Responsibilities
* Review, update, and maintain IMA and client contractual documentation.
* Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure contractual compliance with regulations and policies.
* Support onboarding of new clients and amendments to existing agreements.
* Coordinate with Investment, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure understanding and implementation of contractual obligations.
* Track governance deliverables and prepare for client reviews, audits, and meetings.
* Enhance client governance processes and documentation control.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in client governance or similar within asset/investment management.
* Knowledge of IMAs, pooled fund documentation, and side letters.
* Understanding of regulatory frameworks (FCA, MiFID II, UCITS/AIFMD).
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Attention to detail, organizational skills, and documentation management.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
