Concierge Team Leader - Supported Accommodation Congleton and Macclesfield £26,910 per year Enhanced DBS (Adult Barred List) required ASE Recruitment are specialist recruiters in the social housing and social care sectors providing temporary staffing to work within a variety of 24 hour supported accommodation services and floating support services for Housing Associations and Charities across the Northwest, Midlands, and Derbyshire. This is a full time temporary role, which can become a full time permanent role for the right candidate. The Role As Concierge Team Leader, you will supervise the concierge team to ensure the service operates safely and effectively, particularly during evenings, nights, and weekends. You will support staff, respond to incidents, and ensure procedures relating to safeguarding, security, and resident welfare are followed. You will also play an important role in maintaining a calm and professional environment, supporting residents and liaising with support staff where necessary. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership Supervise and support Concierge staff during shifts Provide guidance, direction, and oversight to ensure consistent service delivery Support staff with incident management and escalation procedures Promote a positive and professional team culture Service Safety and Security Oversee the safety and security of the building and residents Monitor access to the building and manage visitor entry procedures Respond to incidents, emergencies, and safeguarding concerns Ensure accurate recording of incidents, events, and handovers Resident and Service Support Provide a visible and supportive presence within the service Respond appropriately to resident concerns or welfare issues Work collaboratively with support staff and management teams Promote a safe and respectful living environment Administration and Monitoring Maintain accurate logs, reports, and handover information Ensure policies and procedures are followed at all times Support the monitoring of service standards and compliance What We're Looking For Essential Experience working within supported accommodation, housing, or security/concierge services Experience supervising or leading staff Strong understanding of safeguarding and working with vulnerable adults Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain accurate records and incident reports Personal Qualities Reliable and responsible Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills Confident leading and supporting others Professional, approachable, and respectful This role requires an Enhanced DBS check with barred list clearance (Adults).
