Job Overview
A well-established precision engineering business is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join its growing team. This hands‑on role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (3‑4 axis) to produce high‑quality components across sectors such as motorsport, aerospace, and medical engineering. The company operates within a high‑spec, quality‑driven environment and is looking for a skilled individual who takes pride in precision work and can contribute to meeting demanding production schedules.
Responsibilities
* Program, set, and operate CNC 3‑4 axis milling machines
* Work with Haas CNC machinery
* Use CAD/CAM software such as OneCNC and/or HyperMILL (experience beneficial, not essential)
* Work from technical engineering drawings to produce precision components
* Ensure consistent quality across all manufactured parts
* Meet production deadlines and internal milestones
* Maintain a proactive, hands‑on approach within a fast‑paced environment
* Collaborate effectively within the team to support production goals
Qualifications
* Proven experience in CNC milling (3‑4 axis essential)
* Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
* CAD/CAM experience is essential
* Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Experience using CMMs advantageous
* Computer literate
* Team player with proactive and flexible approach
Hours of Work
39‑hour working week. Overtime available at 1.5x rate (expected throughout the year).
