We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a vibrant Secondary school in the Brecklands district, starting in November 2025 and continuing on an ongoing long-term temporary basis.
You will inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and occasionally Key Stage 5), fostering a love of music and supporting them to develop their performance, composition and listening skills. Some knowledge of the science curriculum would also be an advantage.

Duties as a Music Teacher:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Music lessons in line with the National Curriculum and exam board specifications.
* Lead and support extra-curricular activities such as choirs, ensembles, concerts and school productions.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting ambitious targets.
* Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the performing arts faculty to share best practice and develop cross-curricular projects.
Ideal Music Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Music or a related subject.
* Strong musicianship and the ability to teach a variety of musical styles and instruments.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Music Teacher.
* A passion for inspiring young musicians and developing a thriving music culture within the school.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
