As a Recruitment and Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for managing the Recruitment cycle from initial advertising right through to retention stage. The successful person must be confident with technology – monitoring new applicants and the process through efficient internal systems. You will be responsible for ensuring safe staffing levels, continuous recruitment activity and selecting quality candidates to complement our outstanding service.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Liaising with the Care Planner and Registered Manager to identify vacancies
2. Posting and managing online adverts as per current requirements
3. Interviewing and selection of suitable candidates
4. Attending recruitment events as required
5. Local community activity to increase brand awareness
6. Efficient management of recruitment compliance and onboarding process from interview to sign off: to include references, DBS application and management, I.D. and documentation required as per CQC guidance
7. Effective communication with candidates from interview to compliance stage
8. Retention activity with both new and existing team members
Hours:
Full time – Monday to Friday 0900-1700hrs (35 hours per week) with some flexibility to suit the needs of the business.

In line with CQC & Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake enhanced DBS/PVG, right to work, reference and employment history checks in line with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice. You may be asked to provide your employment details through HMRC.
