Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Fife is seeking a Quotations & Order Coordinator
to join their Commercial team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing, dynamic business where accuracy, technical insight, and customer service are at the heart of every task.
The Role:
You will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations and processing customer orders, ensuring that every specification is spot on. This is a detail-critical position, with a high volume of orders per day requiring exact measurements and pricing. Your work directly impacts sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and amend customer quotations with technical and financial accuracy
* Input specifications into spreadsheets and internal systems, ensuring exact measurements and costings
* Maintain and update pricing, product, and specification information
* Collaborate on IT and process improvement initiatives
* Contribute proactively to team meetings and help identify internal and external growth opportunities
* Communicate confidently with internal teams and, occasionally, customers
What We're Looking For:
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Strong customer service experience
* Very high computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Technical understanding is advantageous but not essential
* Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and ability to learn quickly
