Location: Based at Bolton BL1 2TF. Working away from home and travelling throughout the UK will be required as part of the role.

What you'll be doing:
* Assist the Site Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily decommissioning activities, managing site-based teams, contractors, and subcontractors
* Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and team meetings while monitoring work progress and reporting on operational performance
* Implement and enforce safe systems of work, permit-to-work procedures, and conduct risk assessments and method statements
* Monitor and control radiological, chemical, and conventional hazards on site, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Ensure adherence to CDM Regulations, Nuclear Site Licence Conditions, and relevant industry standards
* Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions and maintaining accurate records and regulatory compliance reports
* Coordinate waste segregation, packaging, and disposal activities in accordance with waste management plans
* Liaise with clients, regulators (ONR, EA, HSE), and stakeholders, managing site logistics, equipment, and resource allocation
* Ensure quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed throughout all decommissioning activities
* Mentor and develop team members, promoting a strong safety culture and adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and budgets
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in decommissioning supervision within nuclear, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors.
* CCDO Gold Card
* Experience with permit-to-work systems and safe systems of work
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* SC Security Clearance or ability to obtain
