This Senior Paraplanner role is more client-focused than most similar positions elsewhere & you will be actively encouraged to achieve Level 6 Qualification, with all the support you need.
* Job Title/Location: Senior Paraplanner, Lewes
* Salary: £50,000 - £62,500
* Office/WFH: Office based with WFH flex on days where people have medical/dentist appointments or professional study exams etc
* Requirements: 4+ years paraplanning experience, committed to Level 6 qualification
* Role Snapshot: Working closely with the Operations Director to ensure the efficient & profitable delivery of the practice’s service proposition, helping to support 6 Financial Planners
The Company: A long-established financial planning business, 15 people within the company and growing. An extremely professional & forward-thinking practice in a fabulous new office.
The Role: The Senior Paraplanner will form part of a 6-strong support team and will help to ensure that all technical and product-specific advice/recommendations are suitable for clients. Paraplanners will attend a number of client meetings whilst naturally researching and producing technically accurate and well-written follow-up work. Key responsibilities include:
* Draft/maintain client-facing material, building report templates, questionnaires, additional information inserts and drafting technical wording, where needed.
* Act as the point of reference and researcher for complex matters that arise, including SIPP, SSAS, DB Schemes, Carry Forward, CGT calculations and tax-led schemes queries.
* Maintain knowledge/awareness of new products in the marketplace and provide feedback to Client Proposition Director, for inclusion in FP meetings.
* Support Financial Planners & Operations Team with all aspects of their technical work whilst also supporting the Investment Director.
* Conduct comprehensive research, analysis, and due diligence to support Financial Planners in producing accurate, compliant, and client-focused financial recommendations and reports.
Skills / Experience Required: For this Senior Paraplanner post you must have at least 4 years paraplanning experience and be committed to achieving Level 6 qualification. Ideally you will have experience with Intelligent Office and the ability to mentor junior members of the team.
Additional Information: Salary for the Senior Paraplanner role is to £60,000 with some flex possible doe.
