Harrogate Homeless Project is seeking to recruit a Volunteer Coordinator to join the Fundraising and Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the growth and development of Volunteering within the organisation and make a real difference to our work.
The post holder will be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of HPP's volunteers, ensuring our volunteer database is kept up-to-date and our valuable volunteers are managed and retained.
You will have a positive approach to our volunteers and clients and have an empathetic and friendly nature. If you enjoy working with volunteers and have a passion for making a difference to homelessness in Harrogate, then we would love to hear from you.
This is a 9-month temporary maternity cover position, at 15 hours a week, ideally spread out across 3 days a week (5-hour days) but this can be negotiable. We would also be open to having a conversation about the position being carried out during term time only for the right candidate. The salary for the post will be £7,500 - based on a 15-hour week, 9-month contract.
