What skills and experience we're looking for
The role of the Teaching Assistant 3 - Mentor is a key position, supporting students in various vocational areas and core subjects. Mentors provide classroom and pastoral support and collaborate with class teachers to develop meaningful programmes. They may also supervise classes to cover staff absence, working in small teams to deliver quality cover classes. Experience working with young people is advantageous; however, the ability to develop and maintain meaningful relationships and support students who have struggled to access mainstream education is essential.
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant 3 Mentor with experience or interest in one of the following areas:
* Automotive
* Construction
* Sport
