Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring maximum margin and revenue growth for the region
2. Achieve quarterly regional targets and support overall sales growth
3. Managing, mentoring and training support staff
4. Ensuring top service levels are maintained for Gold/Silver/Bronze customers
5. Offering top of the line after-sales support and dispute resolution
6. Maintain the shortest turnaround time for answering inquiries (target is under 4 hours)
7. Resolve customer disputes
8. Processing quotations and sales orders
9. Keeping a tab on all open orders and ensuring on time delivery
10. Ensuring feedback for all quotes not translated to orders
11. Upselling customers with bulk orders, consignment options and long term contracts
12. Support other departments by providing vital feedback on regional requirements
13. Stay up-to-date with new products and features
14. Maintain and update sales and customer records
15. Keep up to date with competition and implement strategies to counter them
16. Maintain cordial relations with top customers and visit them when required
17. Ensuring cross departmental harmonisation
18. Report regional performance, issues, forecasts and any strategies being implemented to make the desk more efficient
19. Assist the Head of Sales on various issues as and when required
20. Support the AOG desk when required
21. Implement strategies to successfully diversify customer portfolios to new product families
22. Working out of office hours to support the region if required to do so
Basic Qualifications:
23. BSc/BA in Quality Management, Business Administration, Aerospace Engineering or vocational qualification, as Industriemechaniker (m/f/d), Staatliche geprüfter Techniker (m/f/d)
24. Proven experience in managing people
25. Ideally with a Bachelor’s degree in aerospace industry or a related discipline
26. Upholds professionalism at all times
27. Highly focused and maintaining accuracy in extreme pressure situations
28. Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
29. Understanding of KPI’s
30. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
