Be a key player in our Business Banking team, where you will contribute to provide outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. How you'll make an impact Report directly to the Team Leader, ensuring seamless communication and workflow. Coordinate the accurate and timely approval of all manual outgoing Trade and Non-Trade payments to clients, insurers, suppliers, and businesses. Check and release payments from all banking platforms with precision. Report on daily bank charges and request necessary transfers to maintain client bank accounts in compliance with FCA requirements. Process journals for all manual payments, adhering to strict month-end deadlines. Reconcile acquisition bank accounts, ensuring all queries are resolved according to company policy. Collaborate with the offshore team to handover acquisition bank reconciliations and address any queries. Aid in addressing both internal and external audit questions, furnishing accurate and timely responses. Cover reception duties as needed to support annual leave. Work collaboratively with Insurance Broking Accounting and Treasury, promptly raising any issues that arise. Guarantee timely responses to inquiries from both internal and external sources, providing accurate and factual information. About You Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. Proficient in Microsoft Office, possessing a robust understanding of Excel. Previous banking experience is advantageous. Experience in Financial Services management, preferably within insurance.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage time effectively. Possessing a professional demeanor and appearance, with a solid focus on customer service. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally. Analytical problem-solving approach, with a focus on delivering results. Demonstrates initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude, striving for excellence in all tasks.
