3-shift rotation (early, back, and night shifts)Purpose of the Role: To set up and operate Spark and Wire Erosion machinery for high-precision machining operations, ensuring output meets strict customer tolerances and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Set up, adjust, and operate EDM machineryLoad materials and unload finished precision componentsFollow technical drawings to meet tight tolerancesAdhere to all safety and manufacturing procedures and documentationMaintain accurate logs of production, equipment issues, and repairsConduct routine inspections of machines for safety and performanceKeep tooling and materials stocked to minimise downtimeSupport production flexibly during busy periodsSkills & Behaviours:High attention to detail and qualityTeam player with excellent communication skillsStrong ability to follow detailed instructionsProactive approach to safety and continuous improvementQualifications, Skills & Experience:Time-served EDM EngineerHands-on experience in Spark and Wire ErosionCompetent in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawingsDemonstrated ability to work to tight tolerances on high-spec componentsFamiliarity with manufacturing safety regulations and standardsWhy Join?
