A sector leading manufacturing company who have ambitious expansion plans, have a new vacancy for an Assistant Financial Controller to join the team. The Role
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
Prepare monthly management accounts.
Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
Monitor cash flow.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
Lead audits (internal and external) and liaise with auditors.
Develop and improve financial processes, systems and controls.
Supervise and mentor finance team members.
The Person
Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
Proven experience in a senior finance role.
Previous experience working in manufacturing, production or engineering.
