Our Ashburton dealership is seeking an experienced heavy diesel Service Technician to join their team. You’ll be involved in servicing a range of agricultural machinery, with the opportunity to also turn your hand to some of our Construction and Forestry equipment.
About the Role:
Service a wide range of John Deere machinery, continually striving to exceed customer expectations.
Conduct pre-delivery checks and complete associated servicing paperwork.
Prioritise and promote health and safety practices in everything you do.
Maintain and upskill your knowledge of new machinery, technical skills and servicing techniques, backed by D&E.
Be available for an on-call roster, for after-hours callouts or urgent work as required.
About You:
As well as a broad range of technical skills and know-how, you’ll also be a determined problem-solver and a strong team player that can adapt to any situation.You’ll engage well with the wider business and not be averse to learning more about our full line-up of Ag, Construction & Forestry products.
You’ll also have:
Qualification in Diesel/Heavy Machinery Servicing.
Exceptional diagnostic skills with familiarity using various IT solutions and diagnostic tools.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
The ability to work in a team or independently.
Personal organisational skills with the ability to plan and schedule work.
A great attitude, taking ownership of your work, supporting customers and contributing to growing the business.

Rates/Hours of work:
Base hourly rates from: $35.00- $44.00, plus generous tool allowance and overtime.
Minimum of 40 hours per week.
