A long‑established and reputable installation business within the home improvement sector is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day running of their Watford operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, busy, and supportive team where you’ll manage office operations, coordinate installations, and lead a team of four.

This is a hands‑on role that will involve learning the product range and occasionally assisting with lifting and moving goods.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leading, supporting, and developing a team of four

2. Managing customer enquiries and product sales

3. Providing face‑to‑face customer service

4. Processing orders and scheduling installation work

5. Checking deliveries against paperwork and maintaining stock accuracy

6. Ensuring the office runs efficiently and professionally

7. Some heavy lifting involved as part of the role

Essential Skills & Experience

8. Previous supervisory or management experience

9. Strong sales and customer service background

10. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

11. Confident managing workload and prioritising tasks

12. IT literate

13. High attention to detail

14. Team‑focused approach

15. Full UK driving licence (up to 3 points acceptable)
