About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team (CRT) on a temporary basis for one year.
Responsibilities
* Provide rehabilitation to adults within the locality as in-patients, out-patients or in their own home.
* Assess and treat a mixed caseload mainly older people with complex needs.
* Work with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
* Participate in quality improvement work and service development.
* Provide supervisory skills and student mentoring.
* Occasionally work in other community hospital sites.
* Provide regular supervision, support training opportunities, and PDP.
Qualifications
* Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
* Ability to travel throughout the area.
Working hours
Flexibly over 7 days with current Public Holiday working in operation.
