FCAS Enablers Delivery Lead
MBDA is seeking an experienced Transition or Change Manager to lead the delivery of key enabling initiatives within the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) programme. The role is based in Bolton, with hybrid working arrangements (3 days on site per week).
Salary
Up to £65,000 depending on experience.

The Opportunity
The FCAS portfolio spans several projects, including the TEMPEST project, the main UK FCAS Acquisition Programme, and the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP). As Enablers Delivery Lead, you will oversee the delivery of initiatives across Engineering Tooling, Secure Infrastructure, and Operational Transformation and Improvement, leading a small team of up to six direct reports.
Responsibilities
* Maintain transition plans and lead on security infrastructure upgrades across Bolton, Bristol, and Stevenage
* Represent MBDA's interests within collaborative working environments and senior stakeholder groups
* Accountable for development and delivery of the MBDA FCAS strategy on Future Manufacturing and Future Supply Chain
* Support the Digital & data strategy and Enterprise Architecture for international and national collaboration
* Deliver increased collaboration spaces at Filton, Stevenage, and Bolton linked to secure comms and infrastructure
* Lead on floorplate and site regeneration activities to meet FCAS outcomes
* Deputise for Head of Programme Enablers when required, representing the programme with senior stakeholders
Qualifications
* Technical understanding of deploying digital infrastructure
* Previous experience of complex data management systems
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Demonstrable people management experience (minimum of six direct reports)
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to build relationships quickly
* Negotiating and influencing skills across a multi‑national, multi‑disciplined organisation
* Specialist knowledge in Transition / Change Management
* Ability to plan, develop, perfect and deliver across multiple projects
* Commercial and financial awareness; understanding of business strategy
* Capable of managing multiple projects/work packages concurrently
* Product management experience desirable
Security Clearance
British citizenship or a dual UK national with British citizenship is required. All successful candidates will be required to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) after the offer stage.
