In this pivotal role, you will work alongside the Deputy (CEO & Principal), Director of Teacher Development and Digital Innovations and Campus Assistant Principals to drive forward the operational delivery of our college quality cycle. You will ensure that our quality processes are implemented effectively, areas for improvement are proactively addressed, and best practices are embedded to deliver outstanding experiences for our students. What You’ll Be Doing Lead operational quality activities across the college, ensuring continuous improvement in teaching, learning and assessment. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take timely interventions to drive performance. Ensure full compliance with exam board regulations, supporting curriculum teams throughout. Lead and oversee internal and external moderation processes. Contribute actively to the college’s Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement processes. Collaborate with leadership and curriculum teams to enhance student outcomes and the quality of provision. Act as a visible, positive ambassador for our inclusive and high-performing college community. What We’re Looking For A strong background in quality systems within FE, including self-assessment, quality improvement and exam board compliance. Experience in supporting underperforming teaching teams to drive demonstrable improvements. Working knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework (EIF) and curriculum design and development. A teaching qualification at Level 5 or above, alongside a subject-specific qualification at Level 3 or higher. A proven track record in leading change initiatives that enhance outcomes for learners. Skills and Attributes Inspirational leadership and the ability to build motivated, high-performing teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills across a wide range of audiences. Proactive and innovative problem-solving approach. Strong data analysis and reporting skills, particularly using Excel.
