Facilities Manager - Education Sector
An experienced Facilities Manager is required for an interesting role within the education sector. You will oversee the efficient and high-quality delivery of Hard FM across the estate, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and value for money.

You will be based in North Bristol and must be able to travel to all sites across the Bristol area (easily commutable from Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, and South Wales).
Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Estates and Facilities, you will:
* Lead and manage Hard FM services across the estate, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
* Lead procurement and contract management for Hard FM suppliers and services.
* Provide advisory support, including on sustainability and emissions efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee minor building and improvement projects within the capital plan.
* Lead the delivery of the rolling maintenance plan.
* Manage contracts and suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, compliance, and operational efficiency.
* Act as a subject matter expert on sustainability and carbon emissions efficiency.
* Lead procurement for Hard FM suppliers and services.
* Advise senior leadership and stakeholders on Hard FM and future improvements.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in Hard FM leadership within a multi-site environment.
* Strong contract management and procurement skills.
* Experience managing estates projects across multiple sites.
* Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* A strategic mindset to drive efficiencies and improvements.
