About This Role
Our Support Technicians look after service in the Field – working on-site with a diverse range of customers, from small local businesses to large FTSE 100 corporate organisations. No two days are the same! Some customers have specific needs, including provision, repair, hardware, software, or infrastructure support.
As a Customer Support Technician, you'll work in the field daily, engaging directly with customers. This involves travelling to customer sites for installations, setup, and simple repairs. You’ll also discuss ideas and problems related to the BT portfolio, ensuring services are optimised, and may recommend or sell new digital products and services.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about technology, regardless of technical expertise, as comprehensive training will be provided. We value proactive attitudes and great communication skills. Apply today!
About The Apprenticeship
This 18-month apprenticeship includes at least 20% of your time dedicated to learning. You will study for a Level 3 qualification in Information Communication, gaining practical experience along the way. Note: in Scotland, the qualification may differ slightly.
Entry Requirements
Five GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above), including English and Maths, or equivalent. A full manual driving licence with no more than six points is required, as travel is involved. If you don’t have a licence yet, you must pass your test at least one month before starting. Some roles may require security clearance. If you have already achieved a Level 3 qualification in Information Communication, please contact us for eligibility clarification.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship.
