The Personal Tax Assistant Manager will support the tax department in managing personal tax compliance and advisory work. This role is based in Cardiff for a Top-20 firm. Description Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare and review personal tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail. Provide tax advisory services, including planning and mitigation strategies. Act as the first point of contact for client queries, offering professional advice and guidance. Assist with HMRC enquiries and correspondence on behalf of clients. Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver a seamless service to clients. Ensure that all work is completed within deadlines and to the highest standard. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and share knowledge with the team. Profile A Successful Personal Tax Assistant Manager Should Have Professional qualifications in tax or accountancy, such as ATT, CTA, or ACCA. Strong knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance processes. Experience in managing a portfolio of personal tax clients. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in tax software and related IT systems. A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
