Contract, Location and Salary
Salary (Grade 6) - £34,886 - £37,070 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Hours - 37.5 hours per week
Contract - Fixed term contract - 2 years
Location - Digital Content Producer, National Museum of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard (with occasional travel to Fleet Air Arm Museum, National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool and HMS Caroline in Belfast). Hybrid working (combination of on-site a minimum of 2 days a week and from home) may be adopted.
Role Context
Joining our Communications and Digital Engagement team within the Marketing Department, you will lead on the creation of dynamic, impactful multimedia content (video, photography, audio, graphic) to make our digital platforms stand out and our stories shine. You will work on the Boathouse 6 Project to transform the 1840s Grade II* building into new exhibition and event spaces and bring the Royal Navy’s story to the dockyard.
Responsibilities
You will:
* Lead the creation of a programme of digital content in support of the Boathouse 6 Project; document development work and prepare assets to promote the new galleries and experiences for launch.
* Collaborate with community groups, designers, architects, curators, conservators, funders and partners.
* Helps tell the project story across digital channels and formats, ensuring high-quality, accessible content.
