This means we have a ready to go portfolio of over 400 wines from around the world, housed in the UK, to sell to our customers. There is huge opportunity within the Wine side of our business, and we're looking for someone to present the range to our customers and lead the sales of this hugely important category, whilst supporting the growth in our existing product range.
What You Will Do
* Grow and manage a portfolio of on-trade customers: restaurants, pubs, hotels and leisure businesses.
* Build strong partnerships with customers through tailored plans, brilliant service, and smart commercial thinking.
* Win new business with compelling pitches and well-structured commercial deals.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external teams to build growth through wine sales.
* Become a trusted wine expert for your customers — advising on lists, menus, and product choices.
What You Will Bring
* Experience in the drinks industry, ideally in an on-trade sales role, or within the Wholesale industry.
* A track record of hitting (and beating!) sales targets.
* The dynamism and autonomy to get out and enage with customers on a daily basis.
* Confident communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Commercial awareness, relationship-building skills, and a proactive, self-driven mindset.
Earnings
Competitive, based on experience. Company car, mobile telephone and laptop will be provided.
