Excellent opportunity for a Carpenter, with residential experience, to step into a Quality Inspector role within a forward-thinking company who are experts in Timber frame Roofs, being responsible for ensure quality across sites.

This company has strong relationships with all the national housebuilders and have built a solid reputation for the design, manufacture and installation for timber frame roofing systems. Quality is at the heart of everything they do, therefore they ensure all worked is quality checked. Due to company growth they are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join their South region team.
In this role, you will cover Oxfordshire and South East England, visiting sites to carry out post-roof installation inspections and reports, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met. With a keen eye for detail, you will check that all items are installed correctly, free from damage, and compliant with relevant codes and packaging specifications. You will also identify and flag any minor issues that need attention.
The ideal candidate will have a carpentry background with some supervisory experience who has worked on residential projects. You will need to be motivated and hardworking looking for the next step in your career.

The Role:
 1. Travelling to Sites checking the Quality of timber frame roofing installation
 2. Reading construction drawings ensure project are built to standard
 3. Visiting sites across the from Oxford across to the South East
 4. Identifying outstanding issues, working with the site team to resolve these
The Person:
 5. Strong Carpentry background, with some supervisory / Quality checking experience
 6. Residential experience
 7. Has good attention to detail and a high quality of work
 8. Looking for a role with lots of autonomy, variety and responsibility
 9. Full UK Drivers License
