Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join our team. This role combines technical understanding with sales expertise, helping customers identify the right solutions for their fuel management, environmental and engineering requirements.
Responsibilities
* ✔ Develop new business opportunities across BMS services and product solutions
* ✔ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across multiple industries
* ✔ Identify customer requirements and provide technical sales support and recommendations
* ✔ Prepare quotations, proposals and technical sales documentation
* ✔ Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure solutions are technically suitable and commercially viable
* ✔ Manage customer enquiries and sales leads from initial contact through to order confirmation
* ✔ Attend customer meetings and site visits to assess requirements and provide technical advice
* ✔ Support the delivery of jobs by ensuring clear communication between customers and internal teams
* ✔ Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline reporting within company systems
* ✔ Represent BMS at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities
* ✔ Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for growth
What We Are Looking For
* ✔ Experience in a technical sales or engineering sales role within the same industry
* ✔ Experience in fuel systems, hazardous areas, and mechanical engineering within the same industry
* ✔ Understanding of industrial sectors such as fuel infrastructure, aviation, rail, marine or defence
* ✔ Experience working with distributors or specialist equipment suppliers
* ✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* ✔ Full UK driving licence
* ✔ Willingness to travel nationally for customer meetings and site visits
