All About the Role Based at our Dartford site, we have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative on the night shift – 4 days per week, the hours are Monday to Thursday 6 pm to 6 am, plus overtime when required. The purpose of this role is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment. Specific tasks could include: Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment. Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own. Operate saws and handle steel Transferring stock to its location using Forklift trucks & overhead gantry cranes Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders. Maintain high levels of Health and Safety. Essential Skills for the role: Ideally have experience with steel stock holding. Must have experience in overhead gantry cranes. Experience with bandsaws/similar machinery but not essential as training will be given. Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment. Ideally have operated Fork-Lift or Side-loader but not essential as training will be given. Health & Safety awareness.
