Instant Resourcing Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure the delivery of outstanding childcare and early years education. As Nursery Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of the nursery, fostering strong relationships with children, parents, and staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. Responsibilities
* Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall management and coordination of nursery operations.
* Support and lead a team of nursery practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
* Ensure all activities comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and other regulatory standards.
* Promote a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop.
* Engage with parents and carers to provide regular updates and foster positive relationships.
* Contribute to staff training, development, and performance appraisals.
* Manage day-to-day administrative tasks such as record keeping, staffing rotas, and resource management.
* Handle any issues or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain a positive nursery atmosphere.
Requirements
* Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent qualification in Early Years Education.
* Proven experience in a supervisory or deputy management role within a nursery setting.
* Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Ability to plan and organize daily nursery operations efficiently.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and promoting their development and wellbeing.
* Up to date safeguarding knowledge and willingness to undertake relevant training.
