We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Apprentice to join our team within Vistry Northern Home Counties, at our office in Milton Keynes.
As our Finance Apprentice, you will be supporting the Finance team and using core financial systems, including COINS, Anaplan, and Microsoft Excel. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in Accountancy and Finance.
* Assist with the preparation of month-end reconciliations and management accounts to a draft position.
* Complete cash book and bank reconciliations weekly.
* Raise sundry payments.
* Liaise with solicitors and the sales team to approve completion statements and handle ad hoc requests.
* Input journals and conduct cost investigations as required.
* Raise Accounts Receivable invoices.
* Support the collation of Audit data.
* Regularly chase and report outstanding sundry debtors.
* Generate ad hoc reports to support other departments.
* Assist with the production of budgets and forecasts.

What we're looking for:

* 5 GCSEs A-C/4-9, including Maths and English.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
* Keen to gain experience in a busy office environment across departments.
* Numerate with strong attention to detail.

Desirable skills:
* Previous office experience.
* Strong desire to learn and be challenged daily.
* Knowledge of accountancy standards.
