Role: Chef Location: Margaret Roper House, Southport Role Description: Bring your passion for food to a role that truly matters. We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team and create nutritious, high-quality meals that make a difference every day. Margaret Roper House is a residential facility dedicated to providing nursing care for individuals with persistent mental health challenges and various forms of dementia. About the Role * Prepare a diverse range of meals and cater for special events. * Collaborate with senior staff and residents to develop menus that meet dietary needs, including specialist diets. * Manage kitchen inventory and ensure security at the end of each shift. * Maintain accurate records of all menus provided. * Work flexibly and maintain strong relationships with the wider team. Experience & Skills for a chef: * Desirable: City & Guilds Certificate in Cookery and Food Hygiene Certificate. * Experience working in a large kitchen environment. * Ability to prepare meals for up to 30 people. * Sensitive approach when working with residents. * Knowledge of catering for specialist diets. * Team player with a flexible attitude.
