The Role
* Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 expected
* Taking on additional leadership responsibilities in line with the TLR (e.g. Key Stage Lead, A Level Lead, or departmental support role)
* Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
* Supporting pupils with practical investigations, coursework, and exam preparation
* Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
* Working collaboratively within a small, supportive Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* A degree in Biology or a closely related subject
* Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
* Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
* Experience contributing to leadership or departmental development
* A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
