Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
The Lancaster Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme is seeking to appoint a new Programme Director for this large, well-established and successful programme. Our new Programme Director will be a qualified clinical psychologist with well-developed leadership skills, a thorough knowledge of the requirements of DClinPsy programmes and an academic profile commensurate with an appointment at professorial level. The successful candidate will lead the programme to refine and develop its ability to train the clinical psychologists of the future and lead the wider endeavour to extend the educational offerings of the programme, ensuring that they are built on a strong evidence base.
The programme is part of the Division of Health Research within the Faculty of Health and Medicine and the successful candidate will be joining a welcoming and committed leadership team with shared ambitions to provide high quality postgraduate and professional qualifications embedded in our internationally recognised research activity.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they can make a high-quality contribution to the future profile of clinical psychology related research conducted across the programme and the relevant research groups within the Division of Health Research.
