IUS is currently in search of a talented and motivated Senior Tendering & Estimating Engineer with experience in HV and EHV Power Distribution across all sectors. Reporting to the Head of Commercial the role will be to seek and lead major project bidding activity.
The primary responsibility of this role is to identify, lead and manage the development of accurate and timely major project estimates and submit competitive bids and operational delivery proposals for our client-base. Be the main interface for major project bidding activity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Determine and price value-engineered alternatives to plans and specifications in order to demonstrate to clients’ commitment to value engineering.
2. Enhance current major projects tendering process to improve company’s ability to win work
3. Hold and contribute towards pre and post tender bid meetings with clients and their representatives in pursuit of securing work.
