Milk Education are seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support primary schools across [location]. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established HLTA or an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to step up into a more advanced classroom role.
We are working with supportive and welcoming schools looking for strong classroom practitioners who can lead learning and make a real impact.
The Role:
As an HLTA, you will:
1. Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
2. Provide targeted interventions to small groups and individual pupils
3. Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
4. Assist with planning and assessment
5. Help manage classroom behaviour effectively
6. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN teams
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
7. HLTA status or equivalent experience
8. Previous experience working within a UK primary school
9. Strong classroom management skills
10. A confident and adaptable approach
11. A solid understanding of the primary curriculum
12. A passion for supporting children’s development
