Job Summary
Opportunity within the Family and Friends Fostering Team in Nottinghamshire Countywide Fostering Service. Primary focus on undertaking fostering and special guardianship assessments for Kinship Carers who are caring for children looked after by the local authority.
Develop positive working relationships with Kinship Carers to support engagement in assessments, understand role responsibilities and ensure vulnerable children receive safe care from family members. Provide advice, inspire, support and challenge carers to meet children needs.
Show previous social work experience, record working with young people with history of trauma. Good communication skills and collaborate with professionals. Must be available to travel nationwide and flexible to adapt to service needs.

Qualifications and Experience
* Previous social work experience with young people who have a history of trauma.
* Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a highly collaborative environment.
* Available to travel nationwide if needed.
* Willingness to be flexible and adapt to needs of the service.
Salary: £39,152 - £44,075 per annum
