As the maintenance professional for a defined plant or area, own and deliver the maintenance strategy. This includes responsibility for HS&E compliance, integrity management, reliability improvement, budget management, provision of functional expertise as well as support to capital and revenue project programmes. Other accountabilities include; Responsible for monitoring and delivery of all engineering compliance requirements for the plant. Act as Duty Holder in relation to relevant legislative requirements for your area including management of change assessor. Monitor and manage maintenance costs, identify where / when action is needed to meet targets and initiate improvement actions. Develop and review maintenance strategies for your plant in line with production, supply chain and product strategies. Through analysis of OEE and CMMS data, identify and implement reliability improvement programmes to ensure equipment performance meets maintenance strategy targets. Provide functional expertise and technical support to maintenance and operations groups to maximise plant availability to meet business needs. Develop and deliver sustenance project plans and provide support, as engineering lead, to deliver capital programme in your area. Take overall leadership of major planned maintenance turnaround activities for your area. The site was founded in 1919 and today employs nearly 400 skilled people in a variety of roles that include manufacturing, engineering, scientific and production support. Qualifications Knowledge of relevant legislation. Current best practice maintenance tools and techniques. CMMS knowledge (preferably SAP PM). Degree calibre (preferably) with relevant experience in engineering and maintenance of process plant or related equipment. Experience of dealing with contractors.
