Job Description And Responsibilities
This role reports into the Group Head of Financial Crime and will be responsible for driving all aspects of the organisation's efforts to prevent and detect financial crime, such as money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions, bribery and fraud. You will also develop and implement enhancements to policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Are you passionate about fighting financial crime? 1. Improving and developing Group financial crime policies and their implementation across the business
2. Interpreting and advising on all regulatory developments regarding financial crime compliance
3. Advising on the improvement of financial crime systems and controls
4. Leading the delivery of the annual financial crime risk assessment
5. Crafting and delivering technical financial crime training to first line of defence operational and business teams
6. Owning and leading on the delivery of key financial crime improvement projects
7. Advising the business on risk appetite decisions
8. Collaborating closely and leading both internal and external auditors in matters related to financial crime
Qualifications
To apply for this Financial Crime Senior Manager role, we are looking for someone that has at least 6 years within Financial Crime Prevention within the financial services industry in a 2nd line compliance role. We will also require the following:
9. Knowledge of UK and EU financial crime regulations
10. Experience of designing and implementing effective financial crime control frameworks
11. Experience of implementing policies and procedures covering multiple jurisdictions
12. Experience of conducting business-wide financial crime risk assessments
13. Ability to provide training on problematical AML/CTF and Sanctions topics
14. Comfortable working with data
15. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
