HC-One Maintenance Operative
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, and IT skills are ideally preferred. Communication skills should be considerate and kind, whether engaging with residents or co-workers.
The role involves ensuring residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, keeping records updated, and performing repairs such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or wallpapering, all with kindness and professionalism.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns are essential.
